Lawrence sucks and this is why...

I'm not kidding folks, going through Lawrence is seriously the worst part of my drive. And of course tonight was no different. As I got off the highway (which was totally clear of ice and snow), I was accosted by snow packed roads. Of course this is irritating in any situation, but more so tonight. First of all, it had stopped snowing sometime before, this much was obvious. How do I know this? Because the road was clear where cars had been driving (more on that later)and workers were out clearing PARKING LOTS. At least we know where their priorities are at. Even more irritating than the shitty roads were the lights that changed for no reason. I mean really! Take some money and put them on sensors instead of timers! After I stop at 2 lights for no reason, I'm finally on my way. As I'm driving I am trying to stay in the tracks left by those before me...I had to ask myself WTF as I not once, but twice, noticed I was straddling the double yellow line (remember, this isn't me but the tracks I am following). Apparently people in Lawrence can't drive either...I am finally on my way out of town when suddenly, A MIRACLE!!!! It only snowed in Lawrence! Both I-70 and K-10 were clear. Hmmmm...Makes you wonder doesn't it? Perhaps Lawrence should take some of that money that they use to buy the basketball players and use it to employ people to clean the streets. That is all.
