hell and back

Today I had to go to the grocery store and since the Dillon's by our house is closed (it is being turned into a Price Chopper), I braved Wal-Mart. I hate Wal-Mart anytime, but today had to be my worst experience ever. I think that every white trash or non-English speaking person or housewife was in the Olathe Wal-Mart today. I couldn't get within 10 feet of the yogurt, which I really needed (for the dog) and when I tried to go down the aisle with all the baking stuff, every single person in Wal-Mart was there too. I thank God everyday that I am too lazy to attain my license to conceal and carry, because I certainly would have used it today. You would have heard about me on the news, "KSU Senior Goes Down in a Blaze of Fire in Olathe Wal-Mart" or something like that. I'm sure KCTV 5 would jazz it up a bit. My point is this: as much as I enjoy walking around Target, I would never associate that type of calm relaxation with Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has to have some sort of hidden magnet to attract white trash/poor/non English speaking/ people. (At this point feel free to call me racist. I'm not, I just tell it like it is and it is true that many non-Enlish speaking people shop at Wal-Mart.)Luckily for myself and those who know me, I try to limit my interaction with Wal-Mart to less than once a month.

It's so funny that you wrote this post. I just talked to my dad yesterday and he made it pretty clear how much he hates Wal-Mart anymore. We should start a club...

There is a club. They just don't go to Wal-Mart.

Makes me wish Dillon's didn't cost an arm and a freakin' leg to shop there. :(

I agree with Amanda, but I'm willing to pay extra in order to avoid killing people...what's a few extra pennies to avoid jail?
